Donghai Zhang
I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the National University of Singapore. I study how firms’ information, pricing, investment, and innovation decisions shape business cycles, the effects of monetary policy, and the green transition.
My work has been published in the Journal of Monetary Economics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, The Economic Journal, and the Journal of Economic Theory. My research has been supported by Singapore’s Ministry of Education through an AcRF Tier 2 grant and a Social Science Research Thematic Grant, and by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2018 and was an assistant professor at the University of Bonn from 2018 to 2023.
